What counts as furniture removal
We take single pieces and whole rooms: sofas, sectionals, loveseats, armchairs and recliners, dressers, bed frames and headboards, dining tables, desks, cabinets and patio sets. If a two-person team can carry it out safely, it is in scope.
What we do not do is mixed-load clean-outs. No bagged trash, no construction debris, no garage of odds and ends. Keeping to large items is exactly what lets us publish a price for a sofa instead of sending an estimator to your house first.
Inside the home, not just the curb
Most of our work starts in a living room or a bedroom. The team protects the route out, takes doors off hinges where that is what it takes, and carries the piece down. If you would rather move it out yourself first, a curbside pickup takes $20 off the price.
When something needs taking apart
Sectionals, bed frames and some recliners have to come apart to get through a standard door. Tick the box on the item step and the team arrives with the tools for it. There is no charge for taking something apart - it is part of the job.
Stairs and apartments
Stairs are one flat fee for the whole job, however many flights, and an elevator does not count as a flight. Apartment and condo pickups work best when you tell us about the loading zone, gate code and elevator reservation in the special instructions - it is the difference between a smooth pickup and a truck circling the block.
Before a new delivery arrives
The most common reason people call us is that new furniture is coming and the old sofa has to be gone first. Our Before-Delivery Haul-Away Guarantee plans backwards from your retailer's delivery window: an early window means we come the day before, and a later one means we take a window that finishes at least 90 minutes ahead of it.

Furniture removal questions
How much does furniture haul-away cost?
Pricing is per item, not per truckload. A sofa starts at $179, a sectional at $249, a mattress or box spring at $119, and most appliances at $129. Those prices are the same in every county we serve - there is no travel surcharge. You see the full breakdown before you book, including any stair charges.
Do you charge extra for stairs?
Yes - a flat $25 whether it is one flight or two, covering a walk-up as high as the 3rd floor. Above the 3rd floor we need a working elevator, and an elevator means no stairs fee at all.
What is the difference between inside pickup and curbside?
Curbside means the item is already outside - at the curb, in the driveway or just outside the door - and we load it without entering your home. That takes $20 off your price. Inside pickup means our team carries it out of the room it is in. Both are available; choose whichever suits you when you book.
Do I have to be home for the pickup?
Not for a curbside or driveway pickup. Leave the item accessible, tell us where it is in the special instructions, and we will send photo confirmation when it is gone. For anything inside the home, someone 18 or older needs to be there to let the team in.
Can you take my old furniture out before my new furniture arrives?
Yes, that is the Before-Delivery Haul-Away Guarantee. Tell us your retailer and delivery window when you book. If your delivery window opens before 11:00 a.m. we come the previous day; if it opens later, we take a window that finishes at least 90 minutes before the delivery window begins.
