San Bernardino is the largest county in the country by area, and we are honest about serving only part of it. The valley floor and the Victor Valley are on our routes; the mountains and the Mojave are not, and the reasons are practical rather than reluctant.

Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana and the valley floor
This is the county's populated core and roughly a two-hour run each way for us, so these are firmly planned visits. Book a few days out and you have the full choice of arrival windows; book the night before and you are taking whatever is left.
Most of the housing stock here is post-1980 with generous garages and side-yard access, which makes for clean, quick pickups. Moving your item out to the curb or driveway before we arrive takes $20 off, and in this zone it is worth doing - it shortens a visit we have driven a long way to make.
San Bernardino, Colton and Loma Linda
The older central neighbourhoods here have narrower doorways and tighter interior turns than the newer suburbs to the west. Sectionals and box springs are the usual sticking points, and both are usually solved by taking legs or a frame apart rather than by force.
Flag disassembly on the item step rather than leaving it as a surprise. It costs nothing, and a team that arrives expecting to take a bed frame apart is carrying the right tools for it.
Redlands, Yucaipa and the eastern valley
Redlands has some of the oldest housing in the region, and it shows in the doorways. Craftsman and Victorian homes here regularly need a sectional taken apart to get it out, and occasionally need a piece to go out through a window opening rather than a door.
Yucaipa and Mentone are newer and more straightforward. If you have more than one item, put them on a single booking - every item after the first is discounted.
Over the Cajon Pass: Victorville, Hesperia and Apple Valley
The Victor Valley sits over the Cajon Pass, and the pass is the variable: wind, grade and traffic all move the drive time. These are booked well ahead and never same-day, but they are priced exactly like the valley floor below.
Lots out here are large and access is usually easy, which helps. Tell us if the property is on a dirt road or has a long unpaved approach, so we send a vehicle that can actually reach the door.
Where we stop in San Bernardino County
We do not run the mountain communities - Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Running Springs, Twin Peaks. Those roads mean grades, seasonal snow and chain controls, and a local operator will serve you better and faster than we can.
We also do not run the Mojave: Barstow, Needles, Baker, Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Trona and the desert beyond. Needles is nearly 200 miles from our nearest crew. Staffing that properly means a team based out there, which we do not have yet, so we say no rather than promising something we cannot keep.

Is same-day pickup available?
Same-day windows are offered across most of San Diego County when you book before 1:00 p.m. and capacity is open, for a $50 priority charge. In practice that means the 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. window, since the earlier ones have already started. Outside San Diego County, and in the backcountry, pickups are scheduled ahead. Your ZIP code determines what you are actually offered.
How do the arrival windows work?
We schedule three-hour windows - 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We do not promise an exact arrival time. Your team calls or texts when they are on the way.
How much does furniture haul-away cost?
Pricing is per item, not per truckload. A sofa starts at $179, a sectional at $249, a mattress or box spring at $119, and most appliances at $129. Those prices are the same in every county we serve - there is no travel surcharge. You see the full breakdown before you book, including any stair charges.
Can you take my old furniture out before my new furniture arrives?
Yes, that is the Before-Delivery Haul-Away Guarantee. Tell us your retailer and delivery window when you book. If your delivery window opens before 11:00 a.m. we come the previous day; if it opens later, we take a window that finishes at least 90 minutes before the delivery window begins.
